COVID POLICY
The State and Chaffee County have eliminated the mandate on wearing masks. However, if you wish to still wear one – please feel free to do so. Two Roots Acupuncture aims to be transparent with our patients that the safety measures in place to reduce exposure to COVID-19 are strict risk-reduction only and are not risk-elimination. Two Roots Acupuncture makes no claims that we can prevent or treat COVID-19. Patients come voluntarily and at their own risk to their appointments and accept all liability to potential COVID-19 exposure. Two Roots Acupuncture recommends you discuss with your medical doctor if it is safe for you to come for your treatment as it relates to your age, medical condition(s) and risk factors associated with COVID-19.
SERVICE POLICY
acupuncture
Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your initial appointment to allow time for checking in, using the restroom, filling out medical history forms and getting settled. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate you for the full length of your allotted time, schedule permitting. Otherwise, we regret your treatment will still have to end on time, so as not to delay the next client. Appointments cut short due to late arrival are payable in full.
If you are ever uncomfortable during your treatment either from position or from the acupuncture treatment, please tell your practitioner immediately so they may rectify the situation to make you more comfortable. Acupuncture treatments are not always comfortable and often a weird or uncomfortable sensation may occur at the sight of the needle. This sensation is considered beneficial and a healing reaction. However, if you ever have a sensation you would qualify as sharp in nature please tell your acupuncturist immediately. You have the ability at any time during your treatment to ask for a needle to be removed or adjusted to make you more comfortable.
Acupuncture treatments are allotted 45-60 minutes from the beginning of your scheduled appointment. You can end your session sooner for any reason.
It is never acceptable for a client to remove their own acupuncture needles. As a health care clinic, the acupuncturist needs to account for every single needle and make sure that it is properly disposed in the safest manor. When clients remove their own needles, we cannot guarantee that all needles have been disposed of safely and this poses a great health concern for all clients entering our space.
CANCELLATION POLICY

No Showing an appointment will lead to a 100% charge of the scheduled service fee. Fees will be applied to the next visit and will need to be paid in full before further treatment is rendered. Exceptions can be made to this policy at our discretion.
Any fee’s for late cancellations or no-shows will be charged to your account and will need to be paid before your next service and future service will be denied until payment is made.
