Earth Day Sound Immersion
"When the last tree has been cut down, the last fish caught, the last river poisoned, only then will we realize that one cannot eat money."
Every day is Earth Day, but this day reminds us to come together in sacred space to honor our one true Mother, our true Home. This will be a time to send our gratitude, love, and prayers back out to Mother Earth as we attune ourselves to our own true nature - born from, emerged within, and fully of the Earth. As we gather in community to immerse ourselves in sacred sound we offer our breath, our presence, and our beating hearts consciously back out into the rhythms of Earth + Sky. It can be so easy to forget how much we belong and so easy to forget how much power we truly have. Where we pay our attention is key. When we follow the wisdom of Gaia's natural frequency we remember that our own hearts are aligned with hers. If we can pause, surrender, and create space for our hearts to beat our soul's tune back to us, we can reemerge more fully aligned and at peace within the greater community of living consciousness we share our world with: the rivers, trees, mountains, rocks, four-leggeds, two-leggeds, no leggeds, the flying ones, the swimming ones, the creepy crawly ones, the loamy soil, the granite, the limestone, the crystalline cores, the planets, the sun, the moon, and the stars. When we take time to honor our brothers and sisters of all sentience and form, we change the very essence of how we show up in the world, and the very essence of how we show up for ourselves.
"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change".
Attuning consciously to the ways we 'pay our attention' will indeed change our world. The Earth needs us to remember her and to remember our own true nature that is of her.
